The Fog On The Pier print forms part of a collection of visual tales from or by the sea by the talented Finnish artist Johanna Lehtinen. All the images in this series are from the artist's beloved island at or near the sea. Every picture is significant to her - and each one has a story to tell.

Johanna thinks it's important to exercise the senses and appreciate the small things in life. And be mindful that to active total relaxation you need very little.  Johanna finds that the sea is what calms her. In the summer she loves nothing more than to go boating. In the winter she walks across the frozen sea to her island cottage. For her there is no place more relaxing than her island, looking at the sea and listening to the gentle sound of the waves gently rolling in.
